Next E4E Mpls: Saturday, February 27

This month, home is where the heart is.

Your supper money will support Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless, a nonprofit that supports hunger, homeless, and domestic violence organizations throughout Minnesota.

Open Your Heart reaches communities where many traditional funders don’t reach and ensures your donation goes where the need is greatest. They provide funding that helps organizations serve more people and serve them better. Among their recent projects are outdoor winter gear for homeless teens in Minneapolis, a security system for a domestic violence shelter in Willmar, a planning grant to create a community garden at a Twin Cities food shelf, and emergency motel vouchers for homeless people in remote areas of the state with no shelters.

We’re not the only ones that recognize Open Your Heart’s impact. They won the 2015 MN Nonprofit Award for Responsive Philanthropy for their outstanding contribution to MN. Check out their award video!

You’ll feast on a meal to open your heart…
