Catering Causes

Eat for Equity Catering uses catering to support local nonprofit causes.

We donate 10% of catering sales to nonprofit causes. Clients can recommend grants to a nonprofit or charitable organization. Eat for Equity Catering  prioritizes locally-based nonprofits addressing inequities in health, the environment, education and opportunity, and relief and development. Some examples of locally based nonprofits that we recommend to our clients include:

HEALTH  Appetite for Change, RECLAIM

ENVIRONMENT Land Stewardship Project, Youth Farm and Market Project

EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY Neighborhoods Organizing for Change,  Cycles for Change, Reviving the Islamic Sisterhood through Empowerment

RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT American Refugee Committee, Oxfam America

Clients are not limited to the list above and can choose any nonprofit organization agreed on by both Eat for Equity and the client. Clients can choose to make a donation to a cause that is not officially a nonprofit; however, the funds must be used for charitable purposes only, and not for lobbying or political activity. Causes that we’ve supported together include:
