E4E4E4E: Saturday, July 21 in Minneapolis
posted: Tuesday, July 10th, 2012This month, feast for Eat for Equity.
COME TO THE PARTY. Our annual E4E4E4E celebrates this incredible community – of which you are an essential part. In the last year, we’ve become a 501(c)3 nonprofit, appeared on NBC’s Today Show, and brought hundreds of people together to eat, drink, do good, and be merry. This year, we came together in Minneapolis to donate over $15,000 to organizations addressing inequities in our community and around the world.
SPREAD THE GOOD WORD. We’re so excited to tell you that Eat for Equity is launching a mobile kitchen tour. The tour will help build a national network of giving communities, building branches in over 20 new cities and supporting existing branches in Boston, Portland, and the Ozarks. We’ll spend one week in each city, teaching organizers about how to cook for a crowd and how to bring that crowd together to give – leading up to an Eat for Equity benefit in each city. To do this, we need to raise some dough [food pun intended]. Check out the beautiful video below – and share with your friends.
GIVE WHAT YOU CAN. You can help by investing in the Eat for Equity’s vision of communities built around good food, where individuals come together and, through generous giving at all levels, are collectively able to create a better, more equitable world. Your contributions are tax-deductible, and we’re offering some beautiful giving incentives to inspire you to give generously. So GIVE NOW, and pick up your gift at the party.
