E4E Stamford for Haiti Marycare: Saturday, June 15
posted: Monday, May 27th, 2013Come join Eat For Equity Stamford as we honor and benefit Haiti Marycare on Saturday, June 15th 2013! Founded in 2007, Haiti Marycare is a 501(c)3 non-profit that operates a primary healthcare clinic and two schools in partnership with Haitian organizations, as well as initiating community projects ranging from clean water to agricultural programs to micro-loans. Their mission is to work with local partners to improve lives through child and family health programs, education and community development.
Staying true to the night’s theme, we’ll be cookin’ up an authentic Haitian meal, including:
- Fried Plantains
- Rice and Beans
- Chicken Stew
- and More!
Please RSVP before June 8th by registering at http://e4estamfordjune2013.eventbrite.com/. We suggest a donation of $15-20 at the event, or more if you feel moved. The last E4E Stamford event raised over $1,500 for Rebuilding Together Fairfield County! All are welcome to attend this private party!
