E4E Minneapolis for White Earth Land Recovery Project: Saturday, January 26

This month, come to White Earth.

Your supper money will support the White Earth Land Recovery Project, a Native American nonprofit based on the White Earth Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota.

WELRP works on a range of issues on the reservation:
– addressing economic opportunities, through Native Harvest, a food producer providing access to Indigenous foods, and a cafe featuring local foods
– food sovereignty, through native seed libraries
– health, through farm to school programs at the public elementary school and food distribution to elders who are diabetic
– community voice, through Niijii Broadcasting, the first public radio station on the reservation
– energy independence, through Ojibwe Wind

You’ll feast on Native foods…
– Wild Rice Salad
-Maple-Glazed Squash
– Cranberry Buckle
– Bison Meatloaf from Lorentz Meats
– Homebrew from Driftless Brewing
