E4E Chicago for Animal Welfare Society: Saturday, October 13
posted: Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012After successfully introducing Eat for Equity to Chicago in June, we are excited to announce our second event! On October 13th we will host a benefit for the Animal Welfare League, Chicago’s largest humane society. AWL strives to prevent the suffering of, and promote respect and compassion for, all creatures. And for over 75 years the League has offered such programs as providing quality homes through adoption, reducing the pet overpopulation through a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and providing veterinary care for pets of low-income owners.
So come join us as we continue to build upon our success.
We’ll be feasting on…
Vegetarian Lasagna
Broccoli Salad
Kale Salad with currants, almonds & asiago cheese
And more surprises…
Hosted by Susan, Paul and the Animal Welfare League at
1526 N. Mohawk, Chicago, IL [Conveniently located between the Sedgwick Brown Line and North Ave Red Line stops.]
All are welcome, but we do suggest a $15-$20 donation.
Invite your friends, spread the word and please RSVP.
