Ann Arbor Eat for Equity’s First Fall Event!
posted: Wednesday, September 29th, 2010Come support Food Gatherers and Eat for Equity on Saturday, Oct 9th at 6pm.
Food Gatherers is a food rescue program serving Washtenaw County. Its purpose is to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community. Through the work of a small staff and thousands of volunteers, Food Gatherers provides over 8,000 meals each day to families and individuals in need.
A representative from Food Gatherers, Kate Balzar, will share a few words about the program at around 7pm.

You’ll feast on…
roasted carrot salad
roasted potatoes
vegan carrot cake
hot apple cider
and many other delicious treats.
We suggest a $5-15 donation. You’re welcome to bring friends. Let us know if there’s a dish you would like to bring.
