E4E for NEDC: Northwest Environmental Defense Center, Saturday March 17posted: Tuesday, February 21st, 2012
Join us on March 17th to celebrate everything green with Eat for Equity for the Northwest Environmental Defense Center. Enjoy a home-cooked meal, drink good beer, mingle with new friends and learn about the work of NEDC. Come one, come all!
The Northwest Environmental Defense Center is an independent, non-profit organization working to protect the environment and natural resources of the Pacific Northwest. It provides legal support to individuals and grassroots organizations with environmental concerns, and engages in litigation independently or in conjunction with other environmental groups.
The focus of the E4E meal is locally produced, sustainable fare; all the food and drink will come from the Pacific Northwest region where the Northwest Environmental Defense Center does its work. Think hazelnuts, berries, fiddleheads, salmon, and more…
After sharing a meal, we will raise awareness of NEDC’s work for the environment by showing a slideshow and hearing the experiences of NEDC’s committed advocates. We ask for a suggested donation of $10 per person.
