E4E Blog

Hello Bay Area Volunteers!

The Bay Area E4E is looking for a few additional organizers to help plan upcoming E4E events in the Bay Area. Currently, we have one active organizer (Jonas) and a few volunteers who are willing to work at the events, but could use a few extra people to plan, organize and produce the events. If you’re not familiar with the E4E model and mission, check out the home page.

As an organizer you would help me choose a location, select a non-profit to benefit, plan the meal, and organize the party (DJ, Local Brews, Workshops?…etc). I would like to meet with volunteers on the soon to begin planning the next E4E Bay Area.

If you’re interested, please use the contact form below (select Bay Area) and I’ll get back to you about the date, time and location. If you’re not sure you can commit, but you wanna learn more about E4E in the Bay, then message me anyway.

Taking Candy from Strangers

We’re taught as kids to distrust the stranger, to be skeptical of help that comes from the unknown, and of help that comes without expectation of return.  We begin to assume that if someone helps us, then they must want something back. And yet on this trip, I’ve learned to trust in the stranger and […]
